The Swarovski Cristal world – Wattens
Wattens is home to magnificent treasures of crystal. The crystalline treasures are guarded by the water-spouting head of an alpine giant. After passing the giant at the entrance to the Swarovski Crystal Worlds, children and parents discover the sparkling treasures of crystal in the subterranean interactive exhibition. The “Museum Goldenes Dachl” is the memorial to Emperor Maximilian I (1459 – 1519), who was one of the most important personalities in Europe. He left numerous traces in his favorite city of Innsbruck, from which the Golden Roof became the landmark of the city of Innsbruck.
A highlight of the museum is its tangible proximity to the Golden Roof.
